The final round of Inter-State reading readiness contest took place between schools of Haryana and Rajasthan.
The program gathered participants from various schools, each eager to showcase their reading skills and compete for recognition.

The competition, aptly titled “Teach with E4 Competition,” was meticulously organized to provide a platform for students to exhibit their reading prowess. The event was hosted by Anu, who ensured that all participants were familiar with the rules and marking criteria. Each contestant was provided with specific time slots and instructed to introduce themselves before reading the displayed content on screen.

The marking criteria focused on fluency, accuracy, expression, and confidence, ensuring a fair assessment of each participant’s performance. Background noise or whispering was strictly prohibited, emphasizing the importance of clear and audible reading.

Despite initial hiccups with some participants facing disqualification due to non-availability or technical issues, the competition proceeded smoothly across various age groups. Schools like Kidland Play School and Smarto Experiential School showcased exceptional reading readiness and phonic skills, setting a high standard for others.

In the age group of five to six years, Namit from Smart Experiential School emerged as the winner, impressing the judges with remarkable fluency and expression. Madhav, also from Smart Experiential School, secured the runner-up position, showcasing commendable reading skills.

Moving on to the six to seven years age group, Pranavi from Creative Corner Preschool clinched the top spot with her captivating reading performance. Meanwhile, Yashvarsdhan from Nickelodeon Montessori School secured the runner-up position, demonstrating exemplary reading readiness.

In the final age group of seven to nine years, Gunanshveer from Kidland Play School stood out as the winner, mesmerizing the audience with his confident reading. Suhana from Smarto Experiential School earned the runner-up title, showcasing remarkable reading fluency.

The competition not only celebrated individual achievements but also underscored the collective efforts of schools, teachers, and parents in nurturing students’ reading abilities. The event highlighted the importance of reading fluency in academic and personal development, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
